The Rock: I don’t want to be a villain, I want to be James Bond

Last updated

WWE and Hollywood Megastar The Rock recently spoke to Esquire. The Great One discussed several topics during the interview, including how he would love to play the role of James Bond.

‘Yes, my grandfather was a Bond villain in You Only Live Twice with Sean Connery” The Rock stated. ‘It was very, very cool. And I would like to follow in his footsteps and be the next Bond. I don’t wanna be a villain. Gotta be Bond.’

Whether Dwayne Johnson would ever be in serious consideration to play the role of Britain’s greatest spy remains to be seen, but it can’t be argued that The Rock has massive box office appeal.
