The Rock reveals how much WWE had to spend on his elbow pads

Last updated

WWE legend The Rock recently addressed how much it would cost for WWE to spend on the elbow pads that he threw into the crowd every night.

The Great One would of course throw an elbow pad into the crowd just before he hit The People’s Elbow, and it would be thousands of pads given away for free over the years.

Replying to a question about the pads from Ring of Honor’s Shane Taylor, The Rock confirmed that WWE started making the elbow pads available for sale to try and recoup the losses!

‘Great question and I too, often intellectualize after my workout” The Rock began. “Once I started throwing my elbow pads out into the crowd, we just started producing them (WWE).

“We sold them nightly as merch, and I, of course, would toss them in my finish. I also gave hundreds away weekly’ The Great One concluded.
