AEW President Tony Khan recently took to Twitter to respond to the fact that WWE SmackDown will be going two and a half hours next week.
SmackDown will now be cutting into AEW Rampage by half an hour, but they will also be on FS1, so the ratings will likely be a lot closer between the two shows than they have been.
With that, Khan believes that AEW Rampage will beat SmackDown in the ratings next Friday. He said: ‘I saw you’re doing a half-hour head-to-head with us.
“I can’t wait to finally beat your main show head-to-head. It’s been a long time coming. See you next Friday for #AEWRampage on @AEWonTNT!’
