Triple H has brought many changes to the WWE creative process since taking over. One big change is the elimination of last-minute decisions.
During Vince McMahon’s era in WWE, the reports of McMahon tearing up scripts were a common occurrence. Most people did not know the long-term plans for their characters and they learned most things at last minute.
Dave Meltzer revealed how things have been different under Triple H on Wrestling Observer Radio. He mentioned that The Game has not been making a lot of changes to the plans on the road to WrestleMania:
‘Almost everything that I’ve heard, in fact, everything that I’ve heard months back ’” there have been changes from months back, but I would say a month back, everything happened exactly the same [as planned].’
Triple H’s era of bookings
Meltzer explained that previously they tweaked things every week but the era of such changes on a weekly basis is over:
‘Every single week, there would be something tweaked in some way. Not big changes, but there’d be tweaked stuff. Now, there hasn’t been.’
The biggest challenge Triple H has right now is to book the WrestleMania main event. Sami Zayn is the emotional favourite to take on Roman Reigns at the show of shows, but Cody Rhodes also has many supporters.
