Despite the fact that he is no longer able to compete in WWE, Triple H has said that he is completely focused on developing talent in the company.
Speaking to ESPN First Take’s Stephen A. Smith, the former WWE Champion confirmed that he is still working behind the scenes as hard as ever.
“No, my foot’s not off the gas, I suppose in some manner I’ve got to step back a little bit. I’m still in recovery and my endurance is not exactly quite what it used to be before” The Game revealed.
“But right now I’m back, I’m at the office. I am fully focused on recruiting and developing our talent in the future” Triple H noted.
Triple H on new WWE talent
“It’s finding that, it’s creating that future. That’s the biggest focus for me and as we move forward from there, it’s making sure WWE is a success for generations to come” the WWE legend concluded.
The Game was of course a huge part of the development of NXT from gameshow format to developmental and beyond.
Whilst Triple H will likely not be involved in NXT 2.0 going forward, he does appear to still be working to recruit talent for the brand itself.
