Now retired WWE Superstar Triple H recently revealed how much main roster performers in the company earn as a minimum.
The company held their latest tryouts during WrestleMania 38 week from Dallas, Texas, and Triple H was on hand to scout talent.
The Athletic had an article looking at the tryouts in-depth, featuring interviews with a number of participants.
The article also noted a quote from Hunter where he revealed to the potential signees just how much a WWE Superstar can make on the main roster.
“Paul Levesque [Triple H] said wrestlers on the main roster for ‘Raw’ or ‘SmackDown’ earn at least $250,000 annually” the article read.
Triple H on WWE Salaries
That’s a pretty substantial amount for main roster talent to make, and it certainly makes sense that performers down in NXT 2.0 would want to move up.
We don’t have a clear indication of what developmental talent earns, but it is more likely in the $25,000 to $100,000 range rather than $250,000.
So the next time you’re wondering why someone like Pete Dunne would take a role as BUTCH on SmackDown? Just think of the eddies.
