It was reported that WWE Chairman Vince McMahon recently appeared at the WWE Performance Center to ‘scout’ talent, with the company wanting to freshen up things on the main rosters of RAW and SmackDown.

According to a report from Fightful Select, several talent at the PC were extremely nervous about Vince McMahon making his presence known at the training center, due to the recent budget cuts in the company.

Fightful noted that “several wrestlers were fearful they’d be on the chopping block if their ‘first impression’ was a bad one on McMahon.” Although it appears that the WWE Chairman wasn’t seen much by talent at the Center.

It was also confirmed by PWInsider that Nick Khan, Bruce Prichard and Johnny Ace were present at the PC with McMahon, although the reason for all of the top brass being in attendance is not yet clear.

Interestingly, it was not made mandatory for all WWE PC talent to be in attendance at the Center on Thursday, when McMahon and co arrived.

With McMahon not making much in the way of appearances since the start of the pandemic, many talents at the PC believed he would be taking an extremely close look at potential Superstars, but this doesn’t appear to be the case.

It is not confirmed if any talent will be called up to RAW or SmackDown for auditions anytime soon because of the visit, although we hope to update this as soon as we have confirmation.
