There have been some rumors regarding Vince McMahon and his apparent return to WWE Creative, but these appear to have been debunked.
According to a report from WrestlingNewsCo, there was a WrestleMania match: “that was pencilled in for WrestleMania is not happening and the feeling among those we spoke to is that the change had Vince McMahon’s fingerprints on it.”
The site has since updated the article to confirm: “A WWE source reached out to say that Triple H is still running creative and Vince McMahon is not back.”
Is Vince McMahon back in WWE creative?
Many have believed that McMahon has been pulling the strings backstage for some time, but it appears as though he does not in fact have any sway regarding creative at this time.
There is of course a chance that this could change, with the impending WWE sale expected just after WrestleMania.
If McMahon were to sell to a company that would be interested in keeping him on in a creative role, then there’s going to be nothing stopping him at that point.
