Will Kyle O’Reilly leave WWE NXT for AEW?

WWE NXT Superstar Kyle O’Reilly is reportedly extremely close to running out his current contract with WWE and specifically the NXT brand.

Mike Johnson at PWInsider recently confirmed the news, writing that there is a lot of internal talk about O’Reilly having not re-signed with the company.

With that being said, will Kyle O’Reilly leave WWE? If O’Reilly were to leave, he would more than likely join All Elite Wrestling alongside his former stablemates Bobby Fish and Adam Cole.

Fish has said that he would like to team with O’Reilly again; reDragon was one of the best tag teams on the planet in their prime and could be a huge asset to the AEW tag team division.

Fundamentally, there isn’t a huge amount for O’Reilly to do in NXT at this point, so from a creative standpoint it would certainly make sense for him to leave.

The dream scenario would be O’Reilly joining All Elite and then reforming the Undisputed Era to take on The Elite (Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks). But that’s not likely…right?
