The WrestleMania 39 card appears to be coming together, and one of the biggest matches appears to have a date on ‘Mania weekend.
According to a new report/rumor from Xero News, the SmackDown Women’s Championship match is set to take place on Night 1.
“I’m told Rhea Ripley vs Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship is planned for Night 1 of WrestleMania 39”, the site claimed on Twitter.
“As of now, it’s currently undecided whether that will main event the evening or if Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn vs The Usos will” Xero added.

It’s worth noting that this rumor from Xero News is just that, a rumor, as we are unable to verify whether or not the report is legitimate at this time.
Putting Charlotte vs Rousey on as the main event of Night 1 would absolutely make sense, as Roman vs Cody will definitely be the final match on Night 2.
If the Zayn and Owens chasing The Usos story has enough legs (which it could well do), then seeing the Tag Team Titles main eventing Night 1 could easily take that slot as well.
It’s a headache for WWE, but at least it’s a good one to have.
