WWE reportedly considered splitting up one of the major tag teams on the Monday Night RAW brand during the WWE Draft earlier this month.
WrestleVotes noted recently that WWE was considering splitting up AJ Styles and Omos as part of the draft. Reportedly a top star on the brand said to management that Omos was not ready for a singles run.
They wrote: “WWE had seriously considered breaking the pairing of AJ Styles & Omos during draft. To the point where that was the plan.
“Until people of power (including a main RAW talent) spoke up & expressed thoughts on how Omos isn’t quite ready for singles yet. And they actually listened.”
