WWE held the first night of their WWE Draft event on this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown. Several major names switched brands on the show, and PWInsider has confirmed when the Superstars were informed of the changes.
According to PWInsider, the talents that were moving brands were only told of the plans shortly before the announcements were actually made.
This was apparently done as a way to not catch the talents off guard when their names were called out by either Adam Pearce or Sonya Deville during the official WWE Draft.
