WWE fans chant ‘CM Punk’ during terrible segment

Last updated

WWE fans were not impressed with the start of the Madcap Moss and Happy Corbin segment this past Friday on WWE SmackDown.

The segment was pretty awkward, and fans were quick to show their displeasure by chanting “CM PUNK, CM PUNK” whilst Moss was telling his deliberately terrible jokes.

Even Pat McAfee couldn’t save the segment, unfortunately, with the usually great commentator trying to make out that the crowd were chanting “WE WANT LOVE” which is certainly an attempt at a save.

Fans don’t tend to chant the name of the former WWE Champion anymore, now that he has started appearing on AEW programming.

That in itself probably tells you how woeful this segment actually was, and how many WWE fans at live shows actually watch/are aware of AEW.

RAW is broadcast each and every Monday night, and fans in the United Kingdom can watch the show with a monthly BT Sport subscription.

SmackDown is also available on BT Sport every Friday; again for fans who are subscribed to the monthly service that can sometimes be bundled with BT Broadband.

NXT 2.0 and WWE NXT UK are available to watch on Tuesdays and Thursdays respectively on WWE Network in the United Kingdom. The shows are also available on Peacock in the United States.
