It has been reported that WWE have filed a trademark for the term ‘Bash at The Beach.’ The Bash is of course a classic WCW pay per view name and one of the bigger events in the former World Championship Wrestling’s calendar.

This is a new trademark for merchandising purposes, with the following description having been listed:

International Class 025: Clothing, namely, tops, shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, hoodies; outerwear, namely, coats; bottoms, pants, shorts, underwear, dresses, pajamas, lingerie, clothing ties, scarves, gloves, swimwear; Halloween and masquerade costumes; footwear, namely, shoes, sneakers, slippers, flip flops, boots; headwear, namely, hats, caps; wrist bands as clothing; bandanas;

Intent to Use: The applicant has a bona fide intention, and is entitled, to use the mark in commerce on or in connection with the identified goods/services.

WWE secured the trademarks for a number of old WCW events back in 2020; including Bash at The Beach. This was in November 2020, the trademarks were previously registered to Cody Rhodes. AEW did run a Dynamite special entitled “Bash at the Beach” back in January 2020.
