WWE Superstar Becky Lynch was reportedly frustrated with her creative in the company before she got a gimmick change.
WWE Hall of Famer and longtime friend of Lynch, Mick Foley, recently appeared on Throwing Down. The Hardcore Legend revealed on the show that Becky had spoken to him about these issues previously.
“Before Becky became The Man, she was quite frustrated” Mick Foley revealed on the popular SiriusXM show with Miesha Tate and Renee Paquette.
“I remember talking to her on the phone and I was not aware that the women started becoming far better compensated in the modern era.
“I was telling Becky, you know don’t rule out the independents you might feel like a good weight is off your shoulders” Foley stated.

“I said ’˜hey I’d never enquire or rarely about money, but you don’t mind giving me a ball park figure as to what you make’, and as soon as she told me I said,’wow, you gotta stay,’” Foley added.
“I was so happy that you know the finances have picked up and I remember the advice that I gave here was to be patient and be ready'” Foley concluded.
Clearly, staying in WWE was the right move for The Man as she would go on to have the biggest run of her career after.
