A WWE NXT 2.0 Superstar was reportedly injured during a live event earlier this week, and all told it’s a pretty big name on the roster.

According to fans who were at the show in Largo, Florida; Tony D’Angelo appeared to have suffered a nasty shoulder injury.

D’Angelo was writhing in pain in the middle of the ring, and several NXT 2.0 referees came out to check on the status of the WWE Superstar.

It is not currently known if this is a worked angle or if D’Angelo has legitimately hurt himself. Realistically, would be strange for the company to run an angle like this on a live event. That said, it’s not out of question.

It remains to be seen if Tony D’Angelo will be out of action. As mentioned, he is a pretty big part of the weekly programming, so it’s potentially a loss for NXT 2.0 going forward.

We will hopefully have more on this story in the coming days; as the company may well mention it on USA Network programming this Tuesday.

As of writing, WWE has not made mention of the injury to the WWE Superstar.
