It has been reported that NXT Superstar Scarlett will be getting a ‘tryout’ for the WWE main roster later this week. Scarlett is currently the valet for NXT Champion Karrion Kross, but it looks as though she will be getting her own individual chance to shine.
Karrion Kross was used this week on the pre-RAW Main Event tapings. The NXT Champion did appear with the title to take on Shelton Benjamin, however the former IMPACT star was not with him when he made his appearance.
NXT North American Champion Bronson Reed wrestled Drew Gulak on the show as well, which is going to air this Thursday.
NXT Superstar Scarlett Moving Up?
There’s currently no news on why Scarlett was not alongside Karrion Kross for his match that airs later this week, although WWE are apparently extremely invested in the duo, especially Scarlett, who may end up getting a prominent role on main roster television.
F4Wonline.com reported that Scarlett’s own tryout may be taking place prior to SmackDown this week. Karrion Kross, Bronson Reed and Scarlett were backstage for last week’s episode of the show, reportedly to work dark matches in-front of officials.
It has not yet been reported whether or not all three are being considered for a move to the main roster anytime soon. It’s interesting that Kross and Scarlett are not being used as a pairing on television for Main Event, but this doesn’t mean that they won’t be a tandem when and if WWE decides to call them up to RAW or SmackDown.
