WWE Payback 2023 took place tonight from the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but what actually happened on the show?

A number of big matches took place on the card, with the main event seeing Seth Rollins defending his World Heavyweight Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura.

Judgment Day was also a prominent part of the show, with Rhea Ripley defending her Women’s World Championship against Raquel Rodriquez and Finn Balor/Damian Priest challenging for the Undisputed Tag Team Championship.

  • United States Title Match: Rey Mysterio (c) b. Austin Theory – Mysterio reversed an A-Town Down attempt into a rollup to take the win an retain his title
  • Undisputed Tag Team Title Steel City Street Fight: The Judgment Day b. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn (c) – Balor and Priest took the win after a TON of interference and Dominik Mysterio hitting Zayn with the MITB briefcase to give Balor the chance to pin him. NEW CHAMPS!!!
  • “The Grayson Waller Effect” with Special Guest Cody Rhodes
  • Women’s World Title Match: Rhea Ripley (c) b. Raquel Rodriguez – Ripley retained her title after hitting the Riptide on Raquel
  • World Heavyweight Title Match: Seth “Freakin” Rollins (c) b. Shinsuke Nakamura – Seth hit the stomp to retain his title
