WWE RAW: Changes made to script, who was backstage?

Last updated

This week’s episode of WWE RAW was an extremely chaotic (in a good way) episode of the show. Roman Reigns and The Bloodline appeared and challenged The New Day in the opening match of the show, and Reigns, Big E and Bobby Lashley would also main event.

According to a report from PWInsider, the script for RAW went through “multiple” changes during the course of the day. The actual matches stayed the same, but the order and format of the show changed several times. The final script reportedly got delivered at 6pm EST.

WWE NXT Superstar Austin Theory was also backstage at Monday’s RAW TV tapings.

Here is the current card for WWE Extreme Rules 2021; which takes place on Sunday, September 26th, from the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio:

  • SmackDown Women’s Championship Match: Becky Lynch (c) vs Bianca Belair
  • United States Championship Match: Damian Priest (c) vs Sheamus
  • RAW Women’s Championship Match: Charlotte Flair (c) vs Alexa Bliss
  • WWE Universal Championship Match: Roman Reigns (c) w/Paul Heyman vs Finn Balor

Extreme Rules 2021 will be available on Peacock in the United States and WWE Network internationally. Peacock is available from $4.99 per month, and WWE Network is £9.99 in all other regions, dependent on the type of currency.
