WWE RAW rewrites due to Saudi Arabian event

A number of rewrites to WWE RAW are currently taking place due to the event taking place in Saudi Arabia next weekend, Night of Champions.

FightFans has been told that the show has some rewrites due to some WWE Superstars and backstage personnel being asked to fly out early.

Thus far, we have only been able to verify this with one source, and we’re currently trying to establish which segments of the show are being rewritten.

WWE RAW Changes

It was rumoured by a number of different accounts on Twitter that the planned debut match for JD McDonagh has been pushed back to next week.

Whilst we cannot currently verify if that is one of the segments that has been rewritten, it wouldn’t be shocking if Finn Balor, who was expected to be ‘watching’ the match, has flown out to Saudi Arabia early.

It was also rumoured that Dolph Ziggler was the opponent for JD, so he may also have been flown out early and that is why the match has been pushed back and the segment rewritten.

Again we cannot fully confirm any of the above, but we are under the impression that a number of segments HAVE been or will be rewritten by the time the show goes on air.
