WWE RAW Superstar MVP reportedly appeared backstage at NXT this week from the Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, Florida.
It’s not clear why the former United States Champion was backstage at the show, however there has been some talk of WWE NXT Superstars making the move from NXT to RAW or SmackDown in the next few weeks/months.
Karrion Kross, Bronson Reed, Scarlett and Shotzi Blackheart have all been appearing in dark match segments inside the WWE Thunderdome as an ‘audition’ for the main roster, as the company are looking to rejuvenate the current programming as fans return in July.
RAW Superstars MVP and Damian Priest backstage
WWE Chairman Vince McMahon himself recently appeared at the Performance Center to scout talent, and there’s a good chance that MVP himself was looking at some key names to potentially bring up to RAW.
Damian Priest has also been seen recently at NXT backstage, although again it is unknown why he has also been appearing, although this is more likely to be seeing friends and colleagues.
Fightful Select sent out the following regarding the two Superstars appearing backstage at NXT: “Fightful was told that MVP was backstage at this past week’s episode of NXT, and that it isn’t uncommon to see Damian Priest visiting backstage as well. We aren’t sure if there was a specific reason for MVP being there or if he was just visiting.”
Hopefully WWE can start to build some intrigue as we head to the Money In The Bank PPV in July for both RAW and SmackDown.
