WWE is reportedly keeping the creative team in the dark about potential main roster releases that could be coming shortly.
The company released a number of names from the NXT 2.0 show back on Friday. Names such as Dexter Lumis, Dakota Kai, Malcolm Bivens and Harland were included in the mass firing.
According to a new report from Ringside News, main company officials are not making creative aware of who could be getting the axe next.
“Ringside News was told by a tenured member of the creative team that, ‘releases are being kept very quiet and private until they happen'” the site revealed.
WWE Main Roster Creative Releases
“In essence, the creative team has no idea who might not be around on a week-by-week basis at this point, but they are still tasked to write a show with the utmost continuity.
“Ringside News was also able to independently confirm that ‘important players’ on the NXT writing team knew about those cuts a week ahead of time.
“They planned to release that list of 10 stars a week prior, but the decision was made to hold off. The main roster writing team currently has no idea who might be on their way out at this time” RSN concluded.
