Last updated

WWE are reportedly in talks with major MMA star Kayla Harrison. It was recently reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the company were in talks with Harrison’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz.

“WWE contacted Ali Abdelaziz, the manager of Kayla Harrison, who had appeared on AEW television as part of the Dan Lambert angle” Dave Meltzer confirmed in the latest issue of the Observer.

“She was very good as far as looking like somebody but did it as a favour to Lambert once and had no interest in going back.

“Harrison, a two-time Olympic gold medalist and winners of two different $1 million tournaments in MMA, had no interest in WWE either” Meltzer revealed.

“She was on Miesha Tate and Renee Paquette’s podcast and said when asked about AEW, and said when asked about doing wrestling, said ‘No offence, this is what I always say, I always say, ’˜Listen, I worked very, very hard to get out of the trailer park. Why would I wanna be the entertainment?’”

Will Kayla Harrison go to WWE?

RAW is broadcast each and every Monday night, and fans in the United Kingdom can watch the show with a monthly BT Sport subscription.
