Recently, speculation has been rife about the health of WWE Superstar Karrion Kross. Fans noticed Kross sporting tape on his leg during his matches, leading to whispers about a possible injury.
Kross, a two-time NXT Champion, has been embroiled in a feud with AJ Styles and The O.C. on Friday Night SmackDown.
His victory over Karl Anderson on the July 28th edition of WWE SmackDown was a significant event, but it was the tape on his leg that caught the attention of fans and critics alike.
Kross Addresses Injury Speculation from WWE SmackDown
In response to the growing speculation, Kross took to Instagram on August 2nd to set the record straight. He posted pictures of his leg and addressed the rumours head-on.
“When a great villain is hurt, he doesn’t pursue sympathy. He just puts on some @panteraofficial, tapes it up and gives the people a show they came to see,” Kross wrote.
He went on to explain that the tape was not indicative of a serious injury. “I’m still asked about why my leg was taped weeks ago, so to lay it to rest; I’m 100% all good.
“That whacky spiderweb like brushing happened after I pulled the KT tape off. I’ve always healed very quickly since I was a kid and I personally wouldn’t even have called it an injury. Stuff happens.”
Kross’s Attitude Towards Injury
Kross’s approach to injury is a testament to his dedication to the sport and his fans. His willingness to perform despite physical discomfort is a testament to his character and commitment to the WWE universe.
His statement also highlights the physical toll that wrestling can take on its performers. Even minor injuries can be magnified under the spotlight, leading to speculation and rumours.
Kross’s decision to address the rumors directly shows his transparency and his respect for his fans.
