WWE SmackDown was up in viewership this week ahead of WrestleMania SmackDown and WrestleMania 38 itself next week.

According to SpoilerTV, this week’s episode of the show averaged 2.073 million viewers on the FOX Network this past Friday. The site also revealed that the show drew a 0.4 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic.

The first hour of SmackDown this week drew 2.076 million viewers, whilst the second hour drew 2.069 million viewers.

These are of course the preliminary overnight results and are subject to change over the weekend. It is likely that they will be slightly up when the final reporting is revealed.

WWE SmackDown Rating

The numbers for this week’s episode of the show as noted were up from last week, with the Friday, March 18th episode of SmackDown getting 2.043 million viewers.

This is good news for WWE as they look to capitalize on getting as many eyeballs as possible on WrestleMania 38 on Saturday, 2nd April and Sunday, 3rd April.

WrestleMania 38 will be available to watch on the Peacock streaming service in the United States and WWE Network elsewhere.
