A prominent WWE Superstar will be heading back to television in the near future, according to recent reports.
PWInsider recently reported that Lacey Evans will be making her way back to SmackDown on this week’s episode of the show.
“Lacey Evans, who took time off from WWE back in 2021 in advance of having her second daughter, is slated to return to WWE shortly, PWInsider.com has confirmed” the site revealed.
“Evans is scheduled to be at tomorrow’s Friday Night Smackdown taping in Milwaukee” it was then confirmed by PWInsider.
Lacey Evans returns to WWE
Lacey Evans last wrestled for the company in February 2021, where she teamed with Peyton Royce to take on Charlotte Flair and Asuka.
Evans then went on maternity leave, shortly after starting a storyline with Ric Flair and Charlotte Flair where she was Ric’s on-screen girlfriend.
Hopefully, the company will never have to reference that terrible storyline ever again…but there is a good chance that she could be put in a feud with SmackDown Women’s Champion Flair.
