WWE ‘discussing’ unification title match on main roster

Last updated

WWE appear to be discussing a potential unification title match on the main roster, either on RAW, SmackDown or a Premium Live Event.

One of our sources has indicated that WWE are looking at the potential of a Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey vs Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn match to unify all of the Women’s Tag Team Championships in the company right now.

As indicated, we do not currently know if the company will go ahead with this, but with Dawn and Alba having recently been called up, it does make sense to put them in a strong angle.

We’ll have to wait and see if this is something that the company will actually go through with, but it would certainly be an interesting way to introduce the NXT Women’s Champions to the main roster.

In terms of what this means for the Women’s Tag Team titles in NXT, we do not currently know.
