AEW on-screen Coach and former WWE Agent Arn Anderson recently discussed former Four Horseman Chris Benoit. On a recent episode of the ARN podcast, Anderson would be asked by a fan how he would rank Benoit as a Horseman; specifically how he would rate him as a member of the stable, disregarding the final days of Benoit’s life.
Arn Anderson would emotionally describe how he cannot ever disregard what happened, even in a hypothetical scenario. “This has been a tough subject from day one” Anderson began on the podcast. “I went round around with it, trying to get my head around it, and try to do it justice and say the right thing.”

“Almost impossible. It is almost impossible” Anderson continued. “Everything changed. And it changed in a way that couldn’t be fixed. It’s easy to say, what a talented, good friend Chris Benoit was. And the second I say that? The horror comes into my head of the event that happened and it makes me feel guilty for even saying what a great performer Chris Benoit was.”
“It shouldn’t be that way, but I don’t know any other way” Arn continued. “I always try to be a good human being and try to be someone that is friends with everybody. It’s hard to do justice to that in any fashion.”
“So, you know, it’s…I gotta be honest with you, I don’t think I have the right answer. I don’t think I have a good answer. There’s no doubting his talent and his ability. And there’s no doubting the horror of what happened, and that can never be erased. “
