Last week’s episode of Monday Night RAW ended with a hellacious moment between Randy Orton and Alexa Bliss. Bliss and Orton have been intertwined in storylines since Orton started feuding with ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt.
The main event of last week’s show saw Triple H face Randy Orton in what was advertised as a ‘fight.’ Before the end of the ‘match,’ the lights would go out in the arena and Alexa Bliss would appear in the ring with Orton. Bliss would then shoot a fireball at Randy Orton, blinding him and ending the ‘match’ in a no contest.
Randy Orton vs Triple H
According to Fightful Select, this was always the plan for the main event segment. Triple H was added to the show last minute as WWE Champion Drew McIntyre had to isolate following a positive COVID-19 test.
Fightful would also note that the fireball was in fact real and not computer generated. It was however ‘heavily edited.’
