Independent wrestling legend and former NXT Superstar Chris Hero recently joined AdFreeShows for an exclusive weekly podcast. The King of Pro Wrestling and Conrad Thompson present ‘Can Chris Hero Save Wrestling?’ This is available for free to listen to over at AdFreeShows.com
One of the subjects brought up on this week’s episode of the show was former WWE Performance Center trainer Bill DeMott. The former WCW star ‘Hugh Morris’ resigned from the company on March 6, 2015 following multiple accusations of misconduct and abuse by a number of ex-trainees.
Chris Hero on Bill DeMott
Chris Hero said on the podcast that Bill DeMott was not a fan of him. “Bill DeMott is someone that I had become acquainted with when I was signing with WWE” Chris Hero began. “The very first time I had met him and he came down for some of the FCW TVs before he was the head coach. I thought I had a good rapport with him, that quickly turned, and I just didn’t figure it out until it was too late.”
“So Bill is a guy that was not a fan of mine” Hero continued. “And on more than one occasion would say one thing to my face, and then say one thing to another person’s face. It is sh*tty when the people who behave in that manner, are in management, managerial positions you know? The people that hold power? Then the lives of the people that are, you know, working for them? They have control of that, so I just had gotten in a little bit too deep and there was really nothing I could do.”
This podcast episode as well as a ton of other content is available now on AdFreeShows.com. Featuring exclusive content from Grilling Jr, What Happened When (w/ Tony Schiavone), 83 Weeks (w/ Eric Bischoff), ARN, Something To Wrestle with Bruce Prichard, The Kurt Angle show and more!
