Former WWE Superstar and AEW’s leader of The Inner Circle Chris Jericho recently spoke to Rich Swann on his Talk Is Jericho podcast. Swann discussed a number of topics during his time on the podcast, including his IMPACT vs AEW World Championship match against Kenny Omega and his time in WWE.
At one point the discussion moved to 205 Live and when Rich Swann was an integral part of that WWE property. Chris Jericho actually revealed during the podcast that he came up with the idea to bring Enzo Amore to the brand to help build the audience and bring a different flavour to the purple brand.
“I forgot that PAC was there” Chris Jericho began, talking about the landscape of 205 Live back then. “And actually, Enzo was…it was my idea to have him go there.”

“I was like, ‘he’s not doing anything on the main roster, he’s a smaller guy have him go to 205 Live” Chris Jericho continued. “With his personality? He was super over. It’ll take more eyeballs onto this show and get some people to watch it 100%.”
Rich Swann defends his IMPACT World Championship tonight against Kenny Omega in the main event of IMPACT Rebellion. Omega’s AEW Championship will also be on the line in this match. Former WWE commentator Mauro Ranallo will be on hand to call the action for the main event, so IMPACT are stacking it up as much as possible.
