WWE confirmed last night that Edge and Randy Orton will be the Number 1 and 2 entrants into the Men’s Royal Rumble match tonight. The confirmation came during the one-off special episode of WWE Backstage that aired on FS1.
WWE Backstage saw the return of Renee Paquette to the show for a one-off appearance and the confirmation of some key Royal Rumble entrant numbers. As aforementioned, Edge and Randy Orton were confirmed as the first two entrants into the Men’s Royal Rumble match.

This is an interesting wrinkle to their ongoing feud that was put on hold back at Backlash 2020. Following The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever at the Backlash event, Edge was side lined with an injury, and tonight will be the first time that he enters the WWE ThunderDome.
Edge confirmed his appearance in the Rumble match on WWE RAW earlier this week. The Rated R Superstar cut a fantastic promo saying that he wants to win the Championship that he never actually lost. When Edge retired back in 2011, he had to relinquish the then World Heavyweight Championship, so he looks to regain Championship gold starting with a win this Sunday.
