Former IMPACT and NWA performer Eli Drake appeared on the pre-show for NXT Takeover: Vengeance Day, interrupting the pre-show panel of Wade Barrett, Sam Roberts and that guy from Barstool Sports.

Eli Drake confirmed that his new in-ring name is L A Knight; he said that he wants to ‘change the game’ in NXT. I don’t know what an L A Knight is, but it’s a shocking name.
