Slammiversary 2021 – IMPACT Wrestling held their Rebellion PPV event last night. The main event of the show saw Kenny Omega defeat Rich Swann to become the IMPACT Champion, adding to his ‘belt collector’ gimmick.
Following the event, IMPACT sent out a tweet with a GIF promoting their Slammiversary show. Slammiversary will be taking place in July. Interestingly, the company included footage of former TNA/IMPACT talents who were recently released from WWE.
Samoa Joe, Chelsea Green and Mickie James were the talents shown by IMPACT during the teaser. All three will be available for the IMPACT PPV on July, as their 90-day no compete will have passed.

‘That surprised me’ Christian Cage stated, speaking to Bleacher Report. ‘Joe is a super-talented guy. You see it in the ring, and obviously he has tremendous verbal skills.’
‘He was a natural as a commentator as well’ Cage continued. ‘When you have that kind of multi-talented individual who can wear a lot of hats, that’s invaluable.’
‘He truly is, in my eyes, a top performer’ Christian Cage concluded. ‘He’s not going to have any shortage of suitors when the time comes, that’s for sure.’
