Intercontinental Championship Match ’“ WWE Fastlane 2021 is now underway. The company are presenting their WWE Fastlane event tonight from the ThunderDome in Florida. This is the ’˜last stop’ before WrestleMania 37 in April, and the first live PPV event to take place on the Peacock Network.
There are currently 8 matches confirmed for tonight’s card, which includes 4 title matches and, potentially, an intergender match between Randy Orton and Alexa Bliss.
One of the title matches that took place saw Big E defend his Intercontinental Championship against Apollo Crews. The two SmackDown Superstars have been feuding over the past few months and this was supposedly going to be the culmination.
Intercontinental Championship – Big E vs Crews
The match ended when Apollo rolled up Big E for a small package, but Big E reversed it into his own pinning predicament. It was an odd way to end the match, and Apollo attacked Big E after the bell, so we’re getting a WrestleMania match.
