Last updated

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle recently discussed how WWE books currently television on the Kurt Angle Show podcast. The newest episode of the podcast is currently available over at for premium members who subscribe via Patreon.

Angle was specifically talking about the WrestleMania 35 match he had against Baron Corbin. In the lead up to that match, Angle would describe how the creative and booking was chaotic, to say the least.

Kurt Angle on WWE Booking

“It was really hard to guess who was going to wrestle who” Kurt Angle began on the podcast. “Things weren’t structured out as neatly as in prior years. You know they usually [in the past] had the WrestleMania cards by December, at the very latest.”

“If they were gonna have WrestleMania in March or April, they would have been prepared by December” Angle continued. “They would have the card ready. This one? It wasn’t ready for quite some time.”

Kurt Angle finished by saying that WWE hadn’t even prepared the entire 7-hour card until the week of the show. “I don’t think they put together the card, the whole card entirely, till the week before WrestleMania.”
