WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns recently spoke to FOX Sports 1 regarding a potential WrestleMania match against his cousin, The Rock.
The match has long since been rumoured, with Rock himself saying that he would potentially return but only for a match against Roman. With Reigns’ family history and the ongoing Samoan Bloodline story ongoing it could well lead to a matchup between The Head of The Table and The Most Electrifying Man In Sports Entertainment.

Reigns however would say that WrestleMania 39 is the most likely destination for the match, if it were to take place. “We’ll go to Hollywood for [WrestleMania] 39, and I think it just makes sense,” Reigns said to Fox Sports 1. “He’s the biggest box office attraction for the big screen. So, to be able to take that and match it up with the biggest box office attraction in sports entertainment, I think some magic would be made.”
The WrestleMania schedule for the next three years is as follows:
- Tampa Bay: WrestleMania 37 presented by SNICKERS, Saturday, April 10 and Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Raymond James Stadium.
- Arlington/Dallas: WrestleMania 38, Sunday, April 3, 2022 at AT&T Stadium.
- Inglewood/Los Angeles: WrestleMania 39, Sunday, April 2, 2023 at SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park.
