WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks recently reacted to her cousin Snoop Dogg appearing on AEW Dynamite.
Rapper Snoop Dogg was advertised for the show last week but, the extent of his involvement wasn’t expected to be physical. The D.O. Double G would hit a frog splash on Serpentico during Night 1 of AEW Dynamite: New Year’s Smash.
Snoop Dogg would hit the top rope ‘frog splash’ after the Cody Rhodes vs Matt Sydal match. It was a fairly awkward and poor looking attempt, but considering that Snoop isn’t an athlete? It was ok. Serpentico sold the move as if it was hit by Rob Van Dam in the nineties, so credit to him for that.
Sasha Banks on Snoop Dogg
Well Snoop Dogg’s cousin Sasha Banks did not agree that it was ok. The Boss took to Twitter and wrote “fam! We’re gonna have to work on this.” Sasha Banks is of course a huge fan of Eddie Guerrero, so while she may of been proud that her cousin attempted his finishing move? Maybe the execution could’ve been slightly more on point…ok a lot more on point.
Snoop Dogg was appearing on AEW Dynamite to help promote the new TBS ‘Go Big’ show. Dogg and Cody Rhodes are both judges on the new show, along with Rosario Dawson, Jennifer Nettles and Bert Kreischer hosting. The new show premieres tonight January 7th.
You can check out Snoop hitting the move below, with some added genius from commentator for the night Chris Jericho: “he doesn’t have a wrestler’s license, what’s he doing in there?”
