Welcome to The Wrest Is History! In this new column we look at back a significant event from this day in Pro Wrestling history. February 22nd marked the FastLane 2015 PPV event from WWE. The show took place from the FedEx Forum, Memphis, Tennessee. There were reportedly 13,263 fans in attendance for the show.
The main event of the show saw Daniel Bryan face Roman Reigns. The bout was a #1 contender match for the WWE Championship, with the winner going on to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 31.
