WWE will be bringing their Money In The Bank and Backlash PPV events to the new version of the ThunderDome.

Yuengling Center on the campus of the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL will be the new venue for the ThunderDome as of April 12. WWE had up to this point held their ThunderDome events from Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, as of December 11th 2020.

PWInsider reported earlier today that Money In the Bank will take place on Sunday, May 16. Backlash is currently scheduled for Sunday, June 20. Both shows will be taking place inside of the WWE ThunderDome, meaning that WrestleMania 37 could be the last PPV with fans in attendance for quite some time.

As of writing, no other PPV events have been confirmed for the rest of 2021. SummerSlam is still expected to take place in August, but the venue has not as of yet been finalised. WWE may opt to move out to another arena for their bigger PPV events, however right now the ‘B’ tier shows will be taking place at the WWE ThunderDome.
