Update on MJF and AEW Double or Nothing Potential No Show

The situation surrounding MJF and whether he will be appearing at Double or Nothing tonight appears to be gaining even more traction.
According to a new report from PWInsider, Maxwell Jacob Friedman is not backstage at the event, at least as of writing.
The site revealed: “As of five minutes ago, MJF has not been spotted backstage at AEW Double or Nothing.
“Several readers sent word within the last 30 minutes that an AEW YouTube video focused on MJF vs. Wardlow no longer appears on the company’s YouTube channel.”

There’s currently nothing further on whether he will be appearing at the show tonight.
What is interesting is how Tony Khan will react to what is happening. This is the first time that he has been ‘tested’ in this way by a talent trying to get a payday, at least that we know of publicly.
Whatever happens, we’re hoping that Wardlow still gets the opportunity to appear on the PPV event tonight from Las Vegas.
