A former AEW name has taken to social media to react to the news that they have been released from the company this week.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Ace Steel was released from his AEW deal following his actions at ALL OUT.

“Ace Steel (Chris Guy) was released on 10/17 stemming from the brawl on 9/4 after All Out where he allegedly hit Nick Jackson in the face with a chair and bit Kenny Omega in helping C.M. Punk, who had punched Matt Jackson” Meltzer claimed.

“Lucy Guy, his wife who was backstage with the broken foot taking care of C.M. Punk’s dog Larry, was never spoken with regarding the investigation. AEW is in talks with Punk about the future but right now it looks doubtful he will be back” Meltzer added.

Taking to his Instagram story, Steel posted the iconic image of Hulk Hogan and Macho Man Randy Savage with the caption ‘False accusations running wild.’

It is not currently known if Steel has officially been released from the company, as nothing has been made public by AEW themselves.
