Another ‘big’ acquisition heading to AEW very soon

Last updated

AEW has brought in some major names over the past few months, including Bryan Danielson, Adam Cole and CM Punk. Reportedly, there’s going to be more coming in the next few months as we head into 2022.

According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Punk and Bryan are not the only two major free agents heading to All Elite in the near future:

“Sources close to the promotion that would be alerted to such things also noted a new major AEW acquisition is coming on the heels of the deals for C.M. Punk and Bryan Danielson.”

It was not confirmed by Dave Meltzer who this major free agent was; but from the looks of things, it would potentially be either Braun Strowman or Bray Wyatt. Again, this has not been confirmed at this time.
