AEW star Chris Jericho recently discussed how he wants to bring back the Painmaker character that he first developed in New Japan Pro Wrestling.
Speaking on his Talk Is Jericho podcast, the former WWE Champion revealed that he wants to bring back the character for at least one more run in both NJPW and All Elite Wrestling.
‘I’d like to do the Painmaker a few more times in AEW and a few more times in New Japan” Jericho began, revealing that he wants to bring the gimmick back.
“Like I said, I would love to do Painmaker vs. Malakai Black. That’s a no-brainer” Jericho added, alluding to the potentially massive feud in AEW.
“I would love to do Painmaker vs. Sting. That’s amazing. Bat vs. bat. Are you kidding me? Think about that for a bit. Painmaker vs. Shingo [Takagi]” Jericho concluded.
