It was recently revealed that a former NXT Champion was backstage at this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite on TBS.
Former NXT 2.0 Champion Dolph Ziggler was reportedly backstage at the show. The WWE Superstar was only visiting, as his brother Ryan Nemeth works for the company.
Fightful Select reported the news recently, writing: “Dolph Ziggler was backstage, visiting with friends. His brother Ryan Nemeth wrestles for AEW.”

It was also revealed that a couple of other former WWE names were also backstage during the show, including CJ Perry/Lana and Miro.
“Renee Paquette was also backstage visiting” Fightful noted. “The former Lana, CJ Perry, was backstage with the returning Miro. Miro was seen walking around throughout the day.”
Ziggler is expected to be staying with WWE for quite some time going forward. Although, he probably won’t be returning to NXT anytime soon.
His brother Ryan Nemeth has been used very sparingly on AEW Dynamite itself, but he has been appearing on shows such as Dark and Dark: Elevation.
