Pro wrestling personality Jim Cornette recently defended CM Punk amid speculation that he may be leaving All Elite Wrestling.
Speaking on the Jim Cornette Experience podcast, Corny would defend Punk for wanting to vent whilst dealing with the AEW EVPs.
“He had to know that that it [CM Punk’s arm] was in some way damaged. And you think he is sitting there at f*cking midnight or whatever it was in Chicago going ’˜All right I have put up with these f*ckers'” Cornette began.
Jim Cornette on CM Punk Controversy
“‘I have tried to talk to them and I have tried to talk to Tony [Khan] about it. I’ve done this business for these people, I’ve brought these eyeballs on this company for these people. I have put up with these children and now I am f*cking probably hurt and I am tired, and I am old and I work with children'” Cornette added.
“And you know what? I might not get the chance to say some of these things in public again that need to be said, so here we go, give me some muffins'” Cornette concluded.
Clearly, Cornette believes that Punk had more than enough reasons to be as angry as he was at the AEW All Out post-show scrum!
