Maxwell Jacob Friedman/MJF appeared at tonight’s All Elite Wrestling ALL OUT PPV event for the first time in quite some time.
Friedman was last seen on AEW programming shouting down Tony Khan and seemingly breaking kayfabe in a foul-mouthed rant.
Fans had been wondering whether or not this was a genuine reaction from the former MLW star, as he reportedly nearly didn’t even show up for the Double or Nothing PPV event.
We still aren’t even aware if it was a complete work or a shoot angle, but it certainly has been intriguing over the past few months.
Maxwell appeared following the Punk vs Moxley match, after he won the Casino Ladder Match as the Joker under a mask.
MJF returns to AEW
Wardlow recently discussed the original situation with Maxwell, saying that it ‘ruined’ the biggest night in his pro wrestling career thus far.
‘You know that should be considered the best night of my life, and it wasn’t. Everything that was going on with Max at the time, and then in my life personally, nothing was going right’ the AEW star began speaking to Stephanie Chase.
‘It’s kind of sad that everything built up to this big night, and there’s was so much that ruined it. All the crap with Max and everything he was pooling’¦ I showed up that day not knowing if I was wrestling’ the All Elite performer added.
It looks as though the landscape of AEW has changed once again.
The actual AEW ALL OUT PPV event itself is available for fans to watch back on demand via two different methods, depending on where you are in the world:
