Renee Paquette, a renowned broadcaster for All Elite Wrestling (AEW), recently opened up about her relationship with AEW star Jon Moxley.
The couple, who started dating while working together at WWE, tied the knot in 2017 and welcomed their first child, Nora, in July 2021.
Paquette shared her experiences on the Wilde On podcast, hosted by Taylor Wilde. She revealed that her dating life before Moxley was filled with good experiences, but none of her previous relationships had the unique spark she found with Moxley.

“I had boyfriends before, and not to make it sound like I’ve had these great experiences, but like, I was really lucky [that] I didn’t have any ex-boyfriends that I would talk s*** on. They were all good guys, they all brought something different to the table, but, unfortunately for them, when I was dating them, it was never the thing — Jon is of course the thing,” Paquette revealed.

Paquette further elaborated on the instant connection she felt with Moxley. She described it as a bond that transcended the usual romantic cliches.
“I can’t say everything went slow motion, and like, you know ‘Endless Love’ started playing or something in the background. I don’t know, there was just this connection with him that, he’s like my buddy, and we’re still like that. So I love spending time with him, I love watching the way he moves and operates, not that it doesn’t drive me f***ing cr*zy sometimes…” she noted.

A Relationship That Moved Quickly
The AEW broadcaster also mentioned how quickly things moved for them. “As soon as we were together, we were together. There was never a song or dance,” she added.
