2x WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair recently discussed Adam Cole and his move to AEW on his Wooooo Nation Uncensored podcast.

The Nature Boy stated that he believes Cole is far more over on the show than fellow recent signees CM Punk and Bryan Danielson.

‘I do believe he has gotten over better than CM Punk or Bryan Danielson” Ric Flair began. “So I would not turn him into a babyface. I would fight the other way. He is a good heel.

“When you find a handsome heel that can work, and tell you ’˜I’m better looking than you and I’m better than you’, I stick with that guy” Flair continued.

“The fans are forcing us? The fans should never force the promotion to turn the guy or the woman” Flair would then state.

“The barometer should be, let them do what they are best at and if they are really good, as he has been as a heel for instance, it is the tweeners that get lost. Once you start changing that formula around the tweeners get lost” Flair concluded.
