Former WWE Superstar Saraya shockingly joined All Elite Wrestling this week, and now information regarding her contract has been revealed.
According to a recent report from Fightful Select, the former WWE Divas Champion has signed on for three years with the company.
“Sources familiar with the situation tell Fightful Select that Saraya has agreed to a three-year contract with AEW” the site began.
“We are not sure if there are option years at play, as is often the case with AEW. However, we’re told for the amount of money it was signed for ‘largely implies that she’ll be wrestling in some capacity'” Fightful revealed.
“We haven’t been given any indication of whether or not she’s been cleared, but she is set to speak on AEW Dynamite tonight” the site noted.
“Numerous talent within AEW had went to bat for Saraya and put in good words, but one AEW name said ‘she didn’t need it, since there was interest when she became available.’ Those that we spoke to on the roster seemed excited about her joining the company” Fightful concluded.
Will Saraya/Paige wrestle for AEW?
So, it’s looking like we will see the Norwich native actually wrestle for the company, despite the fact that she apparently has not been cleared recently.
The former Paige will be addressing her status on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, so we will hopefully get more clarification on the situation then.
